Niel 36 is housed in the former monastery of the last sisters of Niel. The female, spiritual energy the sisters left behind has been translated into a soulful event space.
Welcome your guests in the spacious entrance and guide them towards the bright living space and the contiguous kitchen. The long table near the window is perfect for a cosy meal, but also to seat your audience for a presentation or workshop. Niel 36 also features a terrace and a garden that will elevate your event. For larger events, you can rent the extra floor with kitchen, lounge area and large dining or meeting space.

What we like
Niel is the perfect location for many group activities, located ten kilometers south of the city of Antwerp, on the northern right bank of the Rupel. From city strollings to relaxing walks and sportive cycling tours in the surrounding nature.
Watertaxi to Antwerp
You can take the watertaxi to go to the center of Antwerp. The trip from Hemiksem to Steenplein takes only half an hour.
Brickworks Museum ‘t Geleeg
This brickworks, over 9.88 acres, gives you a complete picture of an ordinary brickworks in all its aspects. The restored ring oven, klamp oven, rooftile shed, drying sheds are the result of hard work. The machine room with mixer, kollergangr, and press and a walk through the drying sheds are part of the guided tour. It's the only place where you get to see the last complete brickworks in the Rupelstreek.

Explore the beautiful surrounding nature via several mapped out walking routes by 'Natuurpunt Rupel'. The routes vary between a 3,5 and 14,5 km distance.
