am designs' founder Mark Mertens always felt the need to share his passion for art and design. An old town house at the Mechelsesteenweg in Antwerp, his birthplace, was the perfect spot for this project. The place has completely been renovated by am designs with respect for the existing architecture and proportions. It is a reflection of am designs' style, atmosphere and vision: "Creating timeless living spaces". 

am studio functions both as a gallery and a showroom, where we display our own furniture collections along with a selection of new and vintage design classics.

The studio offers a physical platform for artists to present their work in a non-traditional gallery environment.
